About Us

Western Labour Hire Pty Ltd is proudly indigenous owned and has a workforce to suit the needs of all clients from across Australia.

In 2009 Adrian & Dionne Connolly established an engineering business that serviced Cloncurry and the surrounding area. This small one man mobile welding business quickly grew to a 17 man Boilermaking team with associated labourers, apprentices and trades assistants that serviced large Mine Operations around Cloncurry and the North West region of Queensland.
When the demand for labour across the region became a necessity, a Labour hire arm was added to the business. The Labour Hire division of Curry Contracting also experienced growth and success and superseded the Engineering division of the business.
In 2016 it became apparent that for local people in regional communities to significantly benefit from any new investment or development in the Western areas of Queensland, Local People with Local Knowledge would be required and the Curry Contracting Labour Hire arm evolved into Western Labour Hire Pty Ltd.
