POSITION BRIEF

We work with relevant stakeholders to accurately identify the skills, experience, attitude and competencies required to be successful in the role. This also includes information on rosters, pay and working conditions to enable a complete job profile to be prepared.

SOURCING OF CANDIDATES

Having established the job and person specification, we actively source suitable candidates using a variety of methods and mediums, including but not limited to: our candidate database, newspaper and online advertising, candidate referrals and affiliated job service providers and training organisations.

INTERVIEWS AND SCREENING

Shortlisted applicants are required to attend an in depth face to face interview to further expand on their written application and allow a detailed assessment of presentation, attitude and competencies to be collated.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT

Suitable applicants are subjected to rigorous reference checking with previous employers. Questions are developed to specifically target the confirmation of information related to the competencies required in the role. Verification of qualifications, licences, tickets and any other competencies are completed to ensure validity.

CLIENT INTERVIEWS

Selected candidates are presented to the client for further evaluation and screening (if necessary). At this point the candidate is provided with relevant background information on the role, company, job requirements and the expected outcomes to allow them to proceed in their own and the client’s best interests.

OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT

After confirmation from the Client of the successful candidate our staff prepare offers of employment and organise for the completion of all necessary pre-employment medicals, drug & alcohol testing, site inductions and issue all relevant PPE.

FOLLOW UP

We work closely with both the Client and Candidate throughout the term of engagement to ensure the expectations of the host employer and the candidate are maintained at all times, taking a proactive approach to addressing any identified issues and implementing support systems/structures if necessary.
